Help · Readiness Snapshot

Preparing for your Snapshot kickoff.

The kickoff is an optional 30-minute video call you book yourself. You only make three choices, and this page puts every option in front of you, so you can arrive with your picks already made.

Your three choices

Areas first, then people

1Pick three focus areasThe three parts of your operation you most want to look at closely. Not sure? Start from your Pulse: its three weakest areas are a good first pick.
2Name an owner for eachThe person closest to that work. They answer a few extra questions on it (10 to 25 minutes). One person can own two areas.
3Pick 3 to 10 peopleFrom the role list below. Choose some from the office and some from the floor, so both views are heard. You are the sponsor on top of that.
Choice 1 and 2

The focus areas, and who to bring for each

Pick three from your list. The second column shows the roles that usually own that area, so once you have your three areas you can see who to bring.

Choice 3

The role list: pick 3 to 10

Everyone answers as one of these roles. Pick a mix from both groups: a big gap between how the office and the floor see things is one of the most useful things a Snapshot can show.

Before the call

Your checklist

  • The one facility this Snapshot covers
  • Your three focus areas (or your Pulse results, and we pick together)
  • An owner for each focus area
  • 3 to 10 names and job titles from the role list, from both the office and the floor

Have all four? You can skip the call: reply to your Snapshot email with your picks and we set up your link.

After your picks

What happens next

  1. 1You forward one linkEach person opens it and answers on their own, about 30 minutes: the 25 core questions plus the deeper questions for every area.
  2. 2Owners answer a little moreEach focus-area owner also answers that area’s in-depth questions, 10 to 25 minutes more, on their own private link.
  3. 3The link closes on a set dateRoles that were expected but did not answer are named in the report, so a gap is visible rather than hidden.
  4. 4Your Snapshot reportThe range of views across your people, where roles disagree and agree, and the ten moves. See How to read your report.
  5. 5An optional one-hour readoutA 60-minute video call that walks your team through the disagreements, the common ground and the ten moves, and agrees who owns each. If you skip it, the readout agenda in the report guide works as a self-guide.
